GPD Melon (2019) 370202

A high-quality, yellow-skinned thick-rind melon variety. It is medium-early maturing, with a full growth period of 120–130 days in spring cropping, and 40–45 days from pollination of female flowers to fruit maturity. The plants exhibit strong growth vigor, high disease resistance, good heat tolerance, and resistance to aging. They set fruit easily, typically at the 9th to 12th nodes. The fruits are elliptical, covered with fine and dense yellow netting. The flesh is orange-red, fine-textured, crisp, and flavorful, with thick flesh. The average fruit weight is about 2.0 kg, and the central soluble solids content is approximately 18%. Compared to other similar Hami melon varieties, "Du Mi No. 1" stands out for its early maturity, high sugar content, strong disease resistance, and good storage and transport tolerance.

صنف شمام عالي الجودة، ذو قشرة صفراء سميكة. وهو صنف متوسط إلى مُبكر النضج، تبلغ دورة حياته الكاملة في محصول الربيع ١٢٠-١٣٠ يوماً، ومن تفتح الزهرة المؤنثة والتلقيح حتى نضج الثمرة ٤٠-٤٥ يوماً. يتميز بنمو قوي نسبياً، ومقاومة عالية للأمراض، وتحمل جيد للحرارة ومقاومة الشيخوخة. يسهل عقد الثمار بشكل كبير، حيث يُختار العقد عادةً بين العقدة التاسعة والثانية عشرة. الثمار بيضاوية الشكل، مغطاة بشبكة صفراء ناعمة وكاملة. لُب الثمرة برتقالي محمر، وقوامه ناعم ومقرمش، ونكهته جيدة، وسميك اللحم. يبلغ متوسط وزن الثمرة الواحدة حوالي ٢٫٠ كيلوجرام، ويصل محتوى المواد الصلبة الذائبة المركزة (السكريات) إلى حوالي ١٨٪. مقارنةً بأصناف الشمام الأخرى من نفس النوع (هامي)، فإن المزايا البارزة لصنف "دو مي ١ هاو" هي: النضج المبكر، ارتفاع نسبة السكر، مقاومة قوية للأمراض، وتحمل جيد للتخزين والنقل.
